The office staff and Tour Managers of Nowak Tour & Travel have recently returned from our annual training trip to Washington DC. The purpose of this trip is to allow our newer Tour Managers to learn about our most popular destination from our veteran Tour Managers as well as allowing the veterans to learn from each other. It also allows us to complete site inspections of some of our more commonly used hotels in addition to visiting any newly built or renovated attractions. For example, we visited the United States Air Force Memorial which was just completed and dedicated this past October. On September 10, 2006 we moved into our new “home” in the heart of Valley City. Just 6 miles west of I 71 & Route 303 (Brunswick exit), we are located next door to the Valley City Post Office. Our new facility has over 3000 square feet of work space for Nowak Tour & Travel to accommodate our growth & serve you even more efficiently! Stop out & visit us. “As part of Nowak Tour & Travel’s commitment to continuing education and providing our travelers with quality tours, we embarked on a two day adventure to Washington DC with over 35 of our Tour Managers and other personnel. The purpose of this trip was to allow our new Tour Managers to have hands on training and also to sharpen the skills of our more experienced Tour Managers. We also get an opportunity to visit any new attractions along with assuring that all of the hotels we frequently use are still exceeding our high standards of service and cleanliness. For our inside staff, this trip was an opportunity to become more familiar with the typical day-to-day activities on our tours. Having a better understanding of where the attractions are located and how much time a group needs at each attraction is extremely invaluable while planning our tours. Everyone who attended the trip truly enjoyed the experience and overall we feel the trip was a huge success. This just goes to show that learning can be fun at any age.”

Nowak Tour & Travel is proud to launch its new web-site. This site has been in the works for more then four months. We have been trying to give our customers the most up to date site that is fun and easy to use; we also tried to pick a unique theme. Our background being the flag and lady liberty, representing our great country and the freedom we have; after all what better freedom then the “freedom to travel”. We hope you find our site as informative and easy to use as we do. Please keep checking up as construction is not finished and many more plans are in the works to give you our “valued customer” the best site with the most information to help you with all your travel plans.
Part of our company’s largest focus is on student travel. Because of our continued commitment to our customers, Nowak Tour & Travel and its tour managers just completed the “Virtus: Protecting God’s Children” program sponsored by the National Catholic Risk Retention Group. The program deals with awareness and prevention of child sexual abuse. The program was designed for the Catholic Diocese and many churches and schools require this training for individuals that work or volunteer in their schools. Since Nowak Tour & Travel works with over twenty-five catholic schools alone, and our tour managers are in contact with their children too, we thought this unique training was especially important. This training provides our customers with the confidence that our staff is continually updated and trained in many of the same programs required of them and their staff. We also feel this continued training and commitment to our customers separates us from others in our industry. Just another example of Nowak Travel serving the customer. |
