Our family owned company began in the mid 1990’s after Jerry Nowak retired from his career of 31 years as a high school teacher and baseball coach. Jerry started the company focusing mainly on educational tours for Student Groups. As more and more schools looked to Nowak Tour & Travel to coordinate all of their travel needs, Jerry began bringing in family members and retired educators that he had worked with in the past to help out with the increased business. These family members include Jerry’s youngest son Brian, his sister-in-law Elaine, and his nephew Michael. Along with more employees came more business opportunities. While educational tours for Student Groups are still the main focus, Nowak Tour & Travel has expanded its operation to Senior Groups and Individual Travel as well.
At Nowak Tour & Travel, we pride ourselves on designing trips that are as enjoyable and carefree as possible for our travelers. By offering customized itineraries, our travelers can enjoy a trip that meets all of their needs as well as their budget. Nearly all of our tours include a Company Tour Manager on each motorcoach from departure to return which allows your staff to maximize their time with their group members, leaving the logistics and trip details to our staff.
A Nowak Tour & Travel staff member is always available to personally meet with your Tour Director and his or her committee to aid in planning the trip in addition to conducting parent / student meetings or assemblies. In 2008 we coordinated 250 student and adult tours having a combined total of 16,800 travelers, plus a great deal of individual travel. We have designed trips for as few as 8 to more than 600 travelers.
On our student tours we try to provide an all-inclusive tour including all meals and attractions in the tour cost thus minimizing any “out of pocket” expenses once the trip begins. Indoor corridors at above average properties and private night-time security are also high priorities. Also, because our number one priority is your safety and comfort on our tours, we deal with only first class motorcoach companies who provide us with the best equipment and the most experienced drivers in the industry.
